New Forgeline Wheels
Just put on a new set of Forgelines for the track. They are 18x12s in the rear and 18x9.25s in the front. They are LIGHT. I am using the new 3 piece wheels with the titanium bolts. The 12" wide wheel weighs 21 lbs. Not bad. The fronts weigh 20. Even with the 320x650 slicks in the rear, they only weigh 43lbs. Not too bad. I'll post pics from the track. It is raining here (of course the first time in a month) so had to get the car in the trailer....

Bob,
Great wheels - I've got the same wheel in anthracite and 2 sets of the WC3s (one polished, one in silver) for my track car. I think they're a beautiful, well made wheel - plus, Dave & the guys at Forgeline are great people to work with.

The car looks great, Bob. I'm impressed that you fit all that wide rubber and wheel in there. Clearance? No rubbing? I assume you've rolled your fenders? Or is the suspenion so STIFF that there's no vertical movement?

John.
No clearance or rubbing issues at all. I was SHOCKED as the wheels just showed up on Wednesday, and somehow I thought the offsets would be wrong and I would be screwed. They worked perfectly. I already had ground away some of the fender lip (the fender contruction does not roll real well) from when I had spacers in the rear with 315 MPSCs on my 996TT wheels. I am running 2.5 degrees of negative camber in back. I think this helps get the tire away from the wheel arch.

Looks great Bob.
Does the flat hood have the inner structure to seal off the trunk area where the fresh air scoop used to be?
Also did you geta chance to ship out the Big Reds yet? I'm itching to get them on hehe .

Wow Bob, really slick. That RSCS front splitter with the narrowbody bumper looks sweet on a widebody, and it's good to be different. Awesome.
OT: You never got back to me on the car being parted out. I emailed and PMed you- I wanted to buy the shifter/boot so I can cut off the boot. Do y'all still have it? Thanks

The wheels look great Bob. Did you notice a difference (improvement) on the way the car handled?
