Seeking 993 C2 with LSD
I am seeking to buy a 96-97 C2 coupe with LSD (option #P08 Torque Limited Slip with
ABD) but having no luck finding this car so far. I want to have the LSD for occasional
autocross & track events.
I ran an ad in the Phoenix newspaper for 8 days and checked around at the local Porsche dealers but have not turned up a car with the LSD option.
Was the LSD option #P08 very rare in a C2? Any suggestions on finding such a car?

It could well be a bit rare but more likely is the fact that it is not reported by salesman. I found that happening on more than one occasion. Dealers seem to like to report all the cosmetic or audio features (sunroof, hifi,etc.) but do not take pains to report stuff like that. I think they should as several current pre-owned car buyers are interested in specific options especially the 993 buyers.
