I say we all chip in for a few dozen Krispy Kremes for all the staff at Mike's West Coast vacation house. In case of overflow at the Castle, there is a campground down the road a bit near Cambria. Thanks for the compliment, Scott, but I have no life, so this is it. I know, dreadful, but somebody has to do it.

Sure.. Cambria is 3188.17 miles away, while San Luis Obispo is 3228.50. Obviously - Cambria is a much better and more convenient choice....

;)

a parking lot available to hold a large group of cars is a prerequisite.....

Actually since we have teammates on both the north and the south, I am offically neutral in this whole thing. But please feel free to use the castle.

See, us rugged Northerners aren't surprised how quickly you girly-man LA-types balked at that idea. Why, we have to deal with extreme temperature swings from the 50's to the 80's, and we even occasionaly have to survive "rain" up here.

We'll bring ya a few white wine spritzers so you feel at home.

Ahhh... now we're getting some true team spirit. Come on you guys... we need a snappy comeback to this (almost) deroggatory comment. Of course the actual "proof" will be that the NorCal guys will be buying us SoCal guys our first round, and I'l l bet it ain't wine spritzers!

I'm NEVER drinking again.

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea where these places are. Can someone please post mapquest or yahoo maps?

You just got back from Vegas, give it a day!

I always say that after a trip to Vegas.

regarding camping.......If the icemaker in my motorhome is not working, I consider that to be camping.
Does that help Steve?

Hmmmm

We haven't had a HWFMR Humor Competition in a while.

Since I am neutral, I will be glad to offer my services as a judge.

Perhaps the competition could be for who buys the first round, or for the whole night?

nman413 03-24-2004 05:37 PM

Now that I think about it, maybe I do have a drinking problem.... :D

Great route, John. Let's all meet in Lincoln.

Mike in Chi 03-24-2004 06:21 PM

Terry

Why not meet in a town with a football team instead?

Moonstone Beach in Cambria is a great spot...Lots of Nice motels...There is a large parking lot in the center of town...The girls can walk and shop till they drop, while the boys kick tires...also an easy drive up to Big Sir (Hiway 1) for a lunch KRUUUUZE.......Dane
