BAT Carrera 4S Auction today

I think there is more upside to 993 prices based off of loosely tracking for the last 18 mos. What's becoming clearer to me is that there is a more pronounced premium being placed on mileage/condition/color than ever before. Look at the previous black on black C4S sold on PCM a month ago. It went for 69K.

Pros/cons to both cars, but is it worth a 30K price difference?
Agree with the points on values going up PE ratios/bitcoin/real estate etc. The clear winners are the owners and without a doubt, the ones who drive them!

Do you know if the LSD still functions correctly? I've heard they're pretty fragile. Mine has an LSD, but I'm sure the discs are toast by now at 102k miles.

The 993 prices have been level for a couple of years it is nice to see them rising again. All us 993 owners would agree i would think.

Can be double-edged, for those w/ clean no story well-maintained cars that are not planning to sell, this may mean upping the guaranteed value insurance and thus its premium.

And suddenly this one looks very reasonable...

Honestly I do not know. I've never pushed it enough to tell. My air cooled mechanic has been through the car with a fine tooth comb several times and he has never hinted that it did not function. With the low miles and having had an older guy barely driving it from new, my guess is it is in proper working order.

Meh... low miles for sure at 28k but it’s Silver. Nothing like a Blk/Blk 993 WB

Interestingly enough this past year I left Hagerty and switched to State Farm. They came out and appraised my car at a guaranteed value of 85K. Even with the high valuation, State Farm has the best rates by far.
