Default What H&R suspension is this?

I am in need some help. Considering between two 993s, one that has a stock suspension vs one that is fitted with the suspension below. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the car to get a better picture. I have googled various iterations of the part number, but i think i am missing a few digits to get an accurate search result.

1 - Would i expect this to have a harsher ride than stock? I see that they are adjustable, so lowering/raising the height would affect ride quality. Does anyone know how much?
2 - How would this compare to PSS10s?

Looks like H&R street coilovers 37-59-452. Tarret drop links and looks also like the car was running much lower based on the clean marks on those threads. :-)

Wow. That was fast! And i noticed that it was lower too, but i've only been staring at this picture since last night. This doesn't appear like a set up for track, more for looks. The guy who did the PPI said it looked fairly new as well.

Would you expect the ride to be harsher compared to stock or PSS10s? Most of my driving will be on street and the occasional long weekend drives.

The spring perch seems to be very high on the barrel of the strut. A little odd looking.

Harsher compared to stock, yes. Most, if not all suspensions that lower a vehicle have an increase in stiffness, even with a progressive rate spring. I cannot compare them to the PSS10s, but since the PSS10s are adjustable in height as wells compression/rebound, I would have to assume you could dial in the ride you like successfully. I haven't heard of anyone putting in that suspension and not liking it.

Andy, you would expect the perch sit right above the end link collar right? The way it is now, its as if the spring is always fully compressed?

Since the stock set up is sooooo bad.... almost any other suspension is a big improvement and a great modification increasing the value of the car in my mind. Is this better than PSS10 or other brands - that is tough to tell from a picture. But its a plus to buying a stock suspension in my mind...

Suspension is a bit stuff over bumps and i need to get it dialed in and corner balanced, or just get a bit more used to it. Andy's observations have me wondering if there is anything off on the install itself though. The perch is high on the barrel, and this car was riding much lower prior to my ownership.

I'm just glad it doesnt bottom out when backing out of my inclined driveway.
