Default Aero kit splitters #

Does anyone know the part numbers for aero kit 1 l and r splitters?

Mine are shattered after 15 years of driving the curbs at WGI. Sunset is having trouble looking them up in pet.

I was just about to reply, when I thought I had better recheck the numbers on the (badly painted) set I have - I thought it was odd because the numbers don't find anything on the internet....

When I was rechecking the numbers.....993.100.100.100 and 993.100.100.101 - I spotted that they are TechArt's version!

Hi Marc,
Techart was the original supplier for the Aero kit parts. I have the original set that came on my '96 car and the part numbers are 000.043.302.06 & 000.043.302.07
12/17/2020 Looks like the part numbers have a supersession to 993 505 980 00 & 993 505 981 00 respectivly.

I swapped them out years ago during a bumper replacement and have kept them as spares.
I suspect a run of them is made periodically by Techart at which time the inventory in distribution is replenished.
If you were to place an order for them from Pelican Parts it will most likely produce a backorder that will signal to Techart that they may want to do a run of parts.
I have noticed that they do a run of 993 bumper covers once every year or two based on demand. If someone wants a bumper cover once the inventory in the aftermarket runs dry they are just out of luck until demand triggers a new run.

Andy

Thank you for the numbers and explanation. I knew that the techart ones are urethane just like those in the dealer’s parts rack.
Turns out Gert at Carnewal has them in stock.

Sunset found them after I provided the numbers. Each side was $233.

The configurator for the Sport Package Exterior is on the MY22s however as of two weeks ago - the color center caps on the wheels are now displayed in B/W and not color but the description image shows them in color. Same goes for doing the piecemeal version with less gloss black (Turbo Sport Design / or TSD in High Gloss black, although less gloss in places than the Sport Package and you cannot get the special satin rims).

I love the little turn up at the edges of the rear spoiler and the black look against certain colors. I am awaiting my allocation set date to finalize my build - and want the Sport Package - but *must have* the color centers on those wheels!
