Checked the codes tonight. Nothing major really. All related to the oxygen sensor and MAF. The car is catless. The oxygen sensors are obvious.

Could it be rod bearing?
someone suggested that it
maybe rod bearing.

Do all of your valves move in/out when you rotate the engine by hand? I appreciate taking the covers off again is a pain, but....it is the next easiest step in diagnosis that you can do yourself..

I’ve been searching online on how to check the chain tensioners but no luck.
how do you check the chain tensioners?

I'm with @orangecurry on this one. It isn't your chain tensioners. You could go down that route and replace them, one is significantly more expensive than the other. I don't recall which but I am certain it won't help. Try a mechanics stethoscope to isolate the sound to upper or lower if possible. That will help you narrow down the stuff that has to be pulled back off.

First of all I want to say thank U for all your help so far.
did a compression test done. The readings are pretty good I think. I hope someone can confirm that.

I'd take a close look at the valves on the cylinder at 185psi. Or do a leak down while you're in there. The leak down will show better valve integrity than the compression test. Which ones are from the left side?

That'd be cylinder #2. The sound is coming from the left side too.
