Nokia Amp that goes with the HI-FI option
I know there has been a lot of discussion regarding the poor quality of the Nokia Amps. However, I have the HI-FI option and just bought a Digital Sound Processor (DPS) control box that goes in the driver's door. Being naive I thought it was a plug and play item, but it’s not. Evidently the DPS option came with a larger amp.
So, if anyone with a stock Nokia amp that came with the DSP option and they would like to sell it let me know. Or, if anyone knows of an aftermarket amp that would allow me to use the DSP option I would like to know.
As you can tell by this post I am not real sharp on the audio stuff. TIA

Use the DSP control box as a paperweight. Neither Nokia amp is worth investing any money into. A meaningful upgrade will entail replacing both the pathetic stock amp and speakers. The Becker HU is solidly built in Germany as opposed to Malaysia(typical aftermarket unit) and not particularly bad. It does not necessarily need to be upgraded unless you are going for an all out audiophile system.
