Default Hooray - Spring in New England

Getting ready for another great driving season.

Soon the snow will melt, the salt will wash away and the bugs will be out.
I love New England.

Winter? We just have various degrees of Spring and Fall with a long Summer in the middle. After living in NH for 13 years, I do know what winters are like though.. Actually, I quite enjoy them. Gives me time for those longer term projects on the car without feeling like you are missing out on driving time...

Oh, and enjoy the black flies... That I don't miss...

Bob,

The black flies (Maine's State Bird by the way)aren't that bad. Usually they are only here for a little while before the swarms of mosquitos come and devour them. I was saying to my wife today that I can't wait for summer to drive with the top down. The Farmer's Almanac is predicting that summer in Maine will be the week of July 20.

As for projects your right there-only half a basket of parts left uninstalled (not including a few still backordered) at this time-early April target for being on the road.

But we do live vicariously through you left coasters' posts. That do at your place-through the wonderful pics and writing of OG-looked phenominal! Ayuh!

Have fun out there and think of us snowbound New Englanders. We'll be on the road soon.

Welcome, Jason.

This time of year the humidity up here is really low.

I thought there were only 2 seasons - winter and road construction.

I think we should electronically divide the Rennlist board geographically so that we here in New England don't have to be subjected to the never ending litany of fine weather in the rest of the world...a buffer of sorts so that all fine weather comments are filtered out...

Kind of like a nice weather "ignore"...

Let's see, where's my IT manual....
