Might as well tack onto this pertinent thread... how can I tell whether the twists are "hollow" or solid , visually, while they are mounted on the car?
or is it possible?

Thanks.

Feel the inside of the spoke, if they are smooth, they are hollow spokes if they have indentations in the rear of the spoke, they are solid.
