Sure, but anything and everything will eat into their profit margin. They installed a licence plate frame and replaced an air filter. These are just an "optional" as hood struts.

Typical.
It's them vs us, and in many cases, we lose...enter China, internet buying, and Ebay, and other competitive buying (like Craigslist), our main weapons against scalping.
I never understood the randomness and hypocrisy of how and when "scalping" and its penalties are applied.

Less than that!

I paid only $24 for new hood struts for my F250 and $33 for new hood struts for my BMW ($9 BMW tax). Took me just a few mins to install both sets.

Not even something a dealer w/a clear conscience should charge ANY labor to install; certainly not an HOUR!!!!
