Default Looking for an 993 inspector in Dallas

I posted something similar in the Central Region forum but I thought I might ask here as well. I am looking at a 993 in the Dallas area and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good inspector to go look at the car to make sure it seems sound. A PPI would be ideal, but it is unfortunately not possible due to logistics. If you guys know of anyone that you recommend in the Dallas area, or if you are a 993 owner in the area and willing to take a look for me I would truly appreciate it.

Cheers,
PB

what came to be called a RennFax.... no where near being a PPI but getting some knowledgeable eyes to just run it around the block and look it over before investing in a PPI. I have done a handful for folks over the years. surely someone in the DFW area could do the same for the OP?

good luck with your purchase!

I’m not sure if either of these shops will go out to inspect the car, but you can always call them up to see if or how they can help you.

RAC Performance: https://www.racperformance.com/

Mayo Performance: https://mayoperformance.com/

Thank you for the suggestions! I called Mayo already and unfortunately they don’t offer offsite inspections, but I will try the other two and post back in case it can be helpful for anyone else

Also try Zims. The problem though is to do a thorough inspection the car needs to be raised on a lift.

Where in the metroplex is it? As mentioned above, Zims is certainly the best local indy shop here in the DFW region. I'd be happy to eyeball it for you if you want to shoot me a PM.

@PawpaBare I can help out as well. Since mdude is in line, I’ll wait to hear if you need someone to go have a look.
