Replacing Valve Cover Rubber Seal. Anything I need to know? Tips?

I had a dribble. Are we talking about the same thing, here? FWIW, in my experience, replacement of a valve-cover gasket did not amount to more than a few drops onto some newspaper. I had one side of the car jacked up, not the whole rear, as I was doing only one bank. But even with the car level, I couldn't imaging that much oil coming out. Also, while I removed the heat exchangers to do it, I learned afterward that one doesn't need to, and that an allen wrench with a ball end will give you enough angle to get to those last couple of bolts, at least that's what I remember a few writing on this board.

Yes, at least 5 qts. came out. When I did this on my last 993 it was about one qt.
This is why I replace all the bolts and use a torque wrench. Lesson learned.
