Old versions of Porsche.com website..
I found a website that archives old web pages. Here is a link to see what the website looked like in 1996- on. It was so simple back then but I like seeing the original info on my car.

Very cool.
Has anyone seen the fake 10/20/etc. years ago sections in some magazines? They'll show the cover and a few pages for issues that never existed because the magazine wasn't yet in print. They are historically accurate, and are often entertaining. So, how about a Porsche "website" from the late 80's, early 70's, etc.? There are plenty of pictures around and lots of information, so a creative type should be able to put this together easily enough. Any takers?

I have spent more time on this site today and there is a wealth of information on the whole Porsche line. Press kits, model line up's, vario ram explination, suspention info. It's everything I would expect to see from a Manufacturer's website circa 1997.
