Default Denver Area Classic Car Appraisal

Hello all,

My 993 is 25 years old and I'd like to get it appraised for insurance purposes. I can find appraisers online but looking for Porsche or classic car specific.

Thanks!

FYI these appraisals are a joke, go to a real dealer that specilaizes in air cooled cars in your area and see what dealer appraisal would be and add about 10% of their appraisal to around what private party sale would be..but hiring one of those "appraisal companies" is a waste of money.

Thanks for the reply - I'm not sure how you can just add 10%. My insurance company wants a documented appraisal for agreed value. For my old 911 they required paperwork from the appraiser.

Hagerty wrote both my agreed value policies without an appraisal. I did send a photo. But probably a bit more expensive than others.

Hi,

I also live in Denver and took my Porsche to apex auto body for valuation. One of the proprietors is a certified car valuer. They restore some of the rarest Porsche’s in the world. I make it a habit to pop in from time to time to see what they are working on.
