Wow Chris... good luck man! I truly wish the Champ car series flourish... I only follow championships that their cars turn left and right

Chris,
Is that at Firebird? If so, then last year I was sitting at the fence in the background watching Krisiloff (sp?) and a few others test. Please keep us posted w/ your status. Thanks & good luck, Chris.

Chris,
Great pics! Glad you're still hangin in there. Rahal is probably our last hope of keeping it together. It sounds like OWRS isn't too fond of the fence sitters, though. There might be more attrition within the next few days. I'm hearing that Haas might bolt. Newman, now way.
God forbid you end up having more time on your hands, I'll have a little work for you helping me install my H&Rs and Bilstein HDs
So, is Danica as hot in person as in the pics? Wowowowowow!!!

Yes, it was at lovely Firebird Raceway.. I was there last year as well when Krisiloff was testing with Dorricott Racing.. Doesn't look like Kyle Krisiloff will be with us in the Atlantic series this season..
We try to have a little fun at the tests, since they are relatively boring..

The powers that be who run the Atlantic series have mentioned a back-up plan to run with the ALMS. Not sure how true this is, but I sure hope there is a plan-b...

Isn't the Atlantic series owned by OWRS? I'm sure there's value with the series and somebody would have to purchase it from OWRS to run separately. How many cars are expecting to show up for LB, Chris?

Actually the Altantic series is owned by CART. or whatever its called nowadays.. We are looking at about 12-14 pro-car entries, which is about the same as last year. 2002 we averaged 26 cars per event, Montreal the record breaker at 31!
This year there is a C2 class where club guys can run our older chassis (Swift 008.a) for a championship within a championship, lesser prize money etc. This should add another 4-5 cars per event, totaling 16-18 cars.
In 2002 when we saw over 26 cars a race, we had some serious mayhem on the track. Cars running over the tops of others. Many cars airborn and one on its lid (Kyle Krisiloff) at Trois-Rivieres. Thankfully no injuries, just bruised budgets.
If you guys are interested in seeing some mayhem pictures, I could post some of the aftermath. I dont want to get in trouble on a Porsche forum with too much OT pics...
