In my experience, at least for older Porsches, if the Porsche dealer tells me something is normal/ok/not an issue then I probably know it is a huge issue.
So I have tightened things up around the dash as well as various loose wirings. This had 0 effect and the rattle from around the dashboard is still there. I also put gummiplege on all the rubbers and so on.
How do I figure out if it is in fact the windshield that is creaking?
Any other ideas of where the sound is from?
One idea I had was that around a couple months ago I dropped a screwdriver bit in the frunk that I then never found. So I was thinking maybe it was lodged somewhere and now dislodged itself and is rattling around. However, the sound does not sound that close to a screwdriver bit rattling around. And also I have already spent a couple hours hopelessly looking for it.
This noise is driving me crazy and really detracting from the enjoyment of the car.

Let someone else drive the car with you as a passenger and listen and search for noices and rattles and press with your palms at various places and see if the situation improves while pushed at. Then try to fix the detected problem spots.
