I'm Aventura Green! There have been a few discussions recently about the colour of cars on the board.

So I thought it might be fun to try and find out how many different colours are represented on the board. We might even determine which is the most popular colour or colours,along with maybe the most unusual and those which seem to be few and far between. I won't try and steer this but I am aware of some pretty common colours that I have never seen mentioned on the board, but they must be here. I am sure we must have cars in special order factory colours or even one off's. There are also probably cars with interesting and unusual interior/exterior combinations.

To kick it off my own car is Aventura (Aventurine

To illustrate what I mean by factory special order or one off colours this car '95 993TT

Is in a factory special order colour called Monte Carlo which I believe is one of those metallics that changes colour dramatically in different lights (like the paints TVR use a lot) it ranges from purple through blue to green. According to the owner it is unique, he may or may not be right-perhaps you know?

Please chime in and tell us about your car. But lets keep this fun and not go knocking colours, all 993's look great IMO.

To answer your question, mine is Polar Silver with a dark green interior (I have not been able to match the colour code to a name yet).

It would be nice if we had a polling feature in this forum. Perfect for questions such as Tims's. Then everyone can vote and the results are represented in bar charts, rather than creating a thread with 100 replies where the results are not at all obvious Just my $0.02...

Had the same thought as I was posting this-I will undertake to unravel the thread after a reasonable period of feedback and post the findings, hopefully in a graphical sort of way.

Midnight blue (midnite) with two tone grey interior.

I reckon the most popular color will be arctic silver. Even tho there ought to be more guards red. <img border="0" alt="[byebye]" title="" src="graemlins/wave.gif" />

My C2S is midnight blue with blue leather interior.
I like a lot speed yellow, but have got a sweet spot for Riviera blue. Did this come on any other that RS?

I have an local pal who has "viper green" (really bright lite non metallic called "signal green" as well) from the early 70's w/ black. It is wild and almost my favorite.
