Nicely said but i don't get the point?!
JP is specifically manufacturing this caliper for the 993 / Audi with exact similar specifications.
If Chris found some flaws he should elaborate.
We can't just assume that any aftermarket part is sh*t, coz its aftermarket and somebody said so (even if its Chris); what with all the other here highly praised aftermarket provider?

These calipers sold by design911 are from JP Dansk (https://www.jpgroupclassic.com/), a very reputable company from Denmark, which does a lot of OEM stuff for VW, Porsche and Volvo. i'm using these calipers on the track, no issues for now.
We know and use JP Group for other things and they are like you said a great supplier! We didnt source these from them so perhaps what we received were from another outfit. Our issues were general fitment, loose bleeder screw threads (machined too large) and OE Textar pads didnt fit the throats of the calipers. We didnt feel comfortable, so we opted out. They do look very similar, a direct copy of the genuine Brembo made units.
