Just replace it. It's far safer to have a decent windscreen.

No way you are going to polish pits out from a windshield! The guy in the video is very clear with that! Scratches and etching polishes out, pited windows have to be changed! 993s are prone to pit their windshiels, not because they have soft glass but because of the steeply raked front windows.

Completely agree.

If there ever was a car that was a candidate for Clearplex windshield protection it’s the 993. Raked ws that pits quickly and it difficult and expensive to change. My paint protection guy installed mine years ago and it’s nearly invisible.

I'd like to hear more about this clearplex. I looked at the idea several years ago, but it seemed too many hurdles or not enough experienced techs at the time. Thanks
