Advice on how to fit Tonneau cover behind fixed rear seats on 1995 993 cabriolet?
Hi everyone I recently purchased a 1995 993 cabriolet which has fixed rear seats and I put the tonneau cover on the back covering the folded down top and after struggling for awhile it is very difficult to skinny in the fabric behind the fixed seats. Does anyone have any advice on an easier way of fitting the flaps behind the seats or is it just something I need to learn to live with and plan on taking 5 minutes to skinny the flaps behind the seats?
Here's two pics that show what I am asking about.
the rear seats are bolted to the tub with no adjustment, so likely the rear panel is not mounted correctly.
there is only 1 plastic turn tab holding the rear panel in place located center behind the seats.
try lifting the panel up from the bottom or somehow removing it to see if there is an obstruction forcing it close to the seats.
could be someone taped stacks of $100 bills or bags of drugs on the firewall so the panel is forced forward making it difficult to fit the cover.
