I have an empty button-hole in my center console that I would like to fill with a plastic cover that pops in from behind the console face-plate. I have the piece already, I just need to know how to get behind the console face-plate... does anyone know how to pull it open?

Here is a picture of what I am calling the "console faceplate". You can see which hole I want to put the put the blank button into. (The button is blank because I have a fixed spoiler, so no need for the spoiler control button).

 

Just pull it straight otu toward you. those 2 pieces are just press fit. There aren't any hidden screws holding it in.

 

maybe consider doing a garage door switch mod while you're in there? hee hee

something... i must get around to myself.
