Default “Driver Spec” 993 valuation

Looking for help in valuation of a driver's condition hot rod 993 I'm looking at:

1997 C2S 6MT Black/Black
130k with recent engine and trans rebuild (top end, clutch, flywheel, plugs, belts, engine mounts, etc. ~$20k), bone dry underside
RS suspension (RS knuckles, coilovers, sways)
New rotors/pads
Upgraded interior (momo, rennline parts, RS carpets & door cards)
Motorsound with upgraded mufflers
Original paint, 7/10 condition, no accidents

They want $65k - what do you think? The recent rebuild is very appealing and offsets the mileage.

I'd get a PPI for sure.

Haven't seen Jay's price data in a while but $65K might be a tad on the high side for a 130K mile car. But if you like the mods, are confident in the rebuild work, etc. it's not crazy unreasonable. Most of the wide body cars seem to have fewer miles than this, so who really knows on value. Plus what's the C19 impact?

Buy this low mile NB and be done. Spend additional $2K for new suspension to sort that out. Much better value.

Right now there are a decent amount of 40-70k mileage 993's available that have had preventative work recently done in the $50-60ks.

If the mods are checking your boxes and the PPI is good I think you're in the ballpark.

UGH- this again? Every car is different. "s" cars are going to cost more- PERIOD. From what it appears in this thread, the OP is looking at an "S" - they cost 10-15K more than the same car in comparable mileage/condition. Frankly, it's getting REALLY REALLY hard to find any 993 in great condition that doesn't need $ 10K worth of updates/delayed maintenance, etc for under $ 50K- and you will NOT find any "s" model under $ 50K. Could be wrong- but a good condition "s" is going to command $ 60 ish or better if it's in strong mechanical shape.
