Hello Andreas,
I love Switzerland, it is a nice country and you guys make nice watches and very good rifles.
I'm planning to go to Swiss in a few months for a maintenance of my Bleiker.

The car was neglected for a very long time and it took me a year (of my spare time) to get it this far.
Yesterday I made an appointment with the body-shop.
The car has too many layers of paint and filler and many imperfections.
Now that the car is in technical in good shape, it is time for the next step.
The paint will be stripped to the bare metal, all panel-gaps and fitment wil be adjusted and all body imperfections will be corrected.
For the new paint they will use clear coat with slower solvents that flow better and prevents an orange peel finish.
An extra layer of clear coat will be added, so that after curing all the imperfections will be sanded and polished for a high-end gloss finish.

Regards from Belgium

Nice to see you made progress.

My 993 barnfind is stripped again, a have an appointment to bring it in januari to the body shop.
I already stripped the doors, fenders, bumpers and lid.
The dash is out and I still have to remove the interior.
Technical its 100% now so final stage is to bring the body to a 100% condition.

Right now the 993 looks like this.
