Ruf or Andial Suspensions?
As documented in a separate post, I have been researching options for a street-use suspension system that would lower the car from U.S. stock and improve handling a bit. but still have good ride quality.
In exploring all the options, I have come across lightly used suspensions from Ruf and Andial. These could be had for reasonable prices that make them very competitive with any of the other more typical options (RoW M030, H&R, etc.) I am considering.
Both these systems use Bilsteins with proprietary revalving, and undisclosed spring rates, so I really can't tell anything about them. (CP posted some good info on the suspension just taken off his Ruf car, but the Ruf stuff I am looking at is part of a complete package and does not have Boge front struts or RoW springs like CP referenced.)
Anybody have any experience with, or knowledge about, either suspension on a 993, and could comment on their suitability for a street car?
TIA for any feedback.

Bob,
You mentioned that these are possibly Bilsteins revalved. what yoy did not state is whether these are both height and rebound adjustable.
The RUF stuff off my car is NOT height adjustable, and certainly not rebound adjustable. As such, the RUF package you referred to may be an actual RUF suspension system that they sell separately. Mine is part of the BTR conversion set. I had a hunch my suspension was NOT the best that RUF has to offer.

I have a picture of the Ruf system and all its componenets. This picture might tell more informed people something about the nature of the system (for example it has helper springs? I thought those were for sagging Chevy pick-ups??) Unfortunately the Ruf picture is in a PDF, and I don't have any way to convert it to jpeg or gif to post here.
FWIW, here is a picture of the Andial system. Anything obvious here? Different shock colors indicate anything?
