Default B&B Headers with Heater Boxes

My mechanic just ordered these for me. Anybody else running these? Apparently they are the only company that makes them with Heater Boxes? Lead time is 6 weeks minimum. He has used them in the past and said they make an excellent product.

Very cool! Let us know how it goes. I posted a question about headers with heater boxes a while back and got flamed / ridiculed / negative comments from some so I gave up on that line of questioning. I'm interested in the BB headers too

I believe FSA is running B&B headers on his C4S - the mufflers were replaced with Fisters (B&B mufflers are NOT very good !) not aware of any problems with the headers.

I use them in my '76 C3 w/ 993 engine, I had them custom made w/ 964 heat in and 911 heat out, They're over 20yrs old now and still in good shape, I havn't seen any power gains over stock 993, I just used them because they adapt to the early chassis and 964 heat parts that I had laying around

As Stace and Bill comment above, I do have B&B headers and Fister III's. The Fister's were indeed previous droning B&B mufflers, mercifully, beautifully redone by Darin. The headers were installed by a previous owner- no paperwork.
I've corresponded with Greg(Gbos1) above. His car is hot compared to mine and many, as mine is stock. The installer for his car is hoping to gain substantial performance, perhaps 15-20 hp.with these headers. Per Greg, he has vast experience with air cooled power plants...
My car does not appear any faster than units w/o headers, per Bill's comments, substantiated by Jeff Gamroth, but we all dearly hope his endeavor bears fruit. He will get it on a dyno post-installation.
Or, maybe my car is faster, and the issue is the driver, who has an old, light foot!

I’ll report back guys will take 5-6 weeks to Fab so won’t get my car into his shop until 1st Week of April. Mid to upper range gains are certain. Will loose some weight as well over stock pipes.
