One is yours! Never been able to get an exact #, but somewhere around 600 US spec '89 cabs and 600 ROW. Don't quote me on that though. Whatever it is this is just a daily driver 21hrs and counting.

89, so that has the X50 tranny then right? The 5 spead instead of the four that all the other 930's were? I love that car.
Thanks for the radio!

P.S. I put the bra on the car, and it looks like crap... but hey, i have enough rock chips already.

Steve, hope the Boxster or Mini S works out for you and hope to see you tomorrow. Please call me with any questions, directions, etc.

Eyal, I know you are young, however, didn't anyone tell you bras are for girls/women?

Look forward to seeing you again tomorrow.

I often want to invite some of my 930 brethren on these runs but the 4spd, unless you re-geared it, is not an enjoyable Malibu canyon carver.

I hate that thing on my car, trust me, but this paint loves to chip, and for that long of a drive, i think its worth it. I cant wait to get that damn thing of my car though. So ugly.

gee. i just had the frt bumper refinished guess i'll take addison's caution & give some room... but that's o.k. too as i don't really need to 'smoke' my little-blacks like fred ... maybe i'll be the turtle @ the back of the pack... hee hee.

btw: so there are two mini owners (addison & steve?) attending tomorrow?... if so, i've got something for you both... you'll like 'em, something from a mini shoot last dec. which i cannot use....

cheers.. c ya all in the a.m.

WTF happened to my last post?

Anyway, we have a couple of M5's coming too. Since I am an M5 owner I took the liberty of inviting them.

I am an evangelist preaching the righteousness of Porsche. Even (or especially) to my BMW brethren!

I am probably one of the first ones back, man, what a fun run! I believe we had 19 cars start in Malibu, picked up another 9 in Moorpark, a few more on the way for a total of well of 30 cars! 996 GT2, 996TT, GT3, 996 C4S, 996, 993TT, 993 C4S, 993 cabs and coupes, 951's, 944's, Boxster, BMW's.

I'm sure someone will post pics. Had a lot of fun guys, Cold Springs was like going back in time and 24FPS, thanks for the "Mini" stuff!

Cool beautiful day.

could not have been more perfect weather for a run thanks for getting this together addison. & fred your radio "heads-ups" were appreciated.... you sound just like donald southerland.... you should consider doing v.o.'s for commercials! never forget your popcorn machine comment!

all the cars were amazing & the sounds were pretty cool too. was funny when i approached the "chp" who was radar-ing us... just as i slowed i could here 'tyson's' gt-2's exhaust howl in the background!!!!!!!! tooooooooo friggin' funny... 'course i hammered right after passing as well. could not miss that beautiful car blasting off!

cheers guys thanks for a great run! & great meeting all!

ps- adsc4s.... don't mention it, you're welcome!

I got home early to babysit but ended up working on my cab top for the next 6 hrs I should have kept going north.

Phil,
I did have the black cup wheels but not any more. I have 18" Carrera. If you saw that car today, couldn't me mine. I went home before Moorpark.

Oh man.......You don't know what you missed!
Maybe the black cab w/black wheels(I love that combo) was 24fps?

Phil,
The triple black cab was mine - Thanks for noticing. It's about the only custom thing I have on my car and I felt a little out of place among all of those fine examples. But the cab allowed me to hear the sweet music of the twins coming out of the turns during the run – I kept the radio off after Fillmore.
The ride was a blast but I didn’t hit Cold Springs and went south from your shop. Thanks for having us and, if you get up early enough, you should see my cab as I do the Ventura to Santa Barbara commute everyday.

Yup, I couldn't agree more. It was a great run. That drive on 150 around Lake Casitas was (yes, I must admit) really challenging with my stock suspension. My car just wouldn't settle down in those fast sweepers. So now I am really looking forward to the next "run" with a new setup on my car. Then when we got onto 154 in the Los Padres Forest and onto Stage Coach . . . now that was awesome. And, just as promised . . . the tri-tip lunch at Cold Creek was icing on the cake.

It was good to see some people from my last run, and meet lots of new folks with some incredible cars.

I'm off to ViperBob's next week for new "setup" (PSS9/TRG Sways) . . . so when's the next "run"???

I guess I'll have to wait till June 5 for the (SoCal vs. NoCal) meet . . .

Thanks to all,

Tom
