Default Clutch Pedal "pop"

When I depress my clutch to change gears there is a distinctive "popping" feel in the pedal (not a popping sound) after the first third of the travel down.

This sensation is also present at the same point on the travel when the clutch is released. This is definitely a new phenomenon with the clutch.

Is this just a matter of a simple in cockpit pedal readjustment to fix the problem, or is there a larger internal clutch issue going on?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm certainly no expert but this sounds like the onset of "hanging clutch". Since it's all mounted on a gas strut - it may just need that cleaning up.

If it's that p-car.com has a guide to follow...
