Default big reds 993 maintenance

Car is a 95 993 C2. Previous owner installed big reds. They've seen better days - got some ripped boots and delaminating pads, as well as grooved rotors.

Just looking to simply refresh the parts which are on there. Here are my questions (did try searching but no luck).

Is there a quick way to verify these are indeed big red calipers Im looking at? Going off of previous owner info.

Rotors - am I likely looking at 993 TT rotors (They're 2 piece, drilled), or are there other ways to skin this cat? Asked another way - If I want to replace rotors, do I just buy OEM 993 TT rotors or something else?

Thanks in advance!

Post a photo and I can tell you if they're "big reds" and then we can point you in the correct direction for rotors.

RacingBrake and Brembo offer new seals and dust boots. There are a couple DIY's on how to replace them.

The paint vs powdercoat mindset has been debated for a decade. Either will work.

To replace the PORSCHE lettering, you want a 3" stencil as it will be nearest OEM size. A couple companies make them.

Seals and pistons are cake walk easy diy, with a small compressor and a couple wooden blocks. I think i bought them from sunset.

Unless you’re trackng and want to buy Girodisks, you’re getting the oem TT rotors. Again sunset.

You do want to check whether the rear big reds are TT or RS. RS are the more desireable track rears. They take the same brake pad as regular black fronts.

Good advice from my fellow Schattenbaum member above. And yes, those are indeed Big Red fonts!
