I drive my C4S on nicer days in the winter- been in the snow a few times and have tires for it, but I have an F150- so that's safer and easier to clean.

I got caught out in a snow storm one time (pretty rare for the UK) and my C4 was great in snow, even with Michelin Pilot Sports. It was way better than most of the other cars on the road and streets ahead of my wife's five series. I usually put winter tyres on my E46 M3 and use that as a great fun winter car.

I have always wanted to drive my C4 in the winter here in Ontario, Canada. But we use salt by the truckload here and I was not prepared to rinse the car off after each outing. Not sure that is required, but I would worry about not rinsing.
