I have this wheel. I think it's similar to the 968CS wheel but with smooth leather, red stitching and embossed porsche on the side of the wheel. Nice thick grip.

Found them. Here are a few bay area Rennlisters who got their wheels and airbags rewrapped earlier this year from Carsdream. All black leather, thickened like the optional 996 GT3 wheel. Airbags were really nice. Stitching and embossing what you would expect of a factory wheel.

My '96 Carrera has the stock wheel everyone knows and apparently not everyone loves.
I did notice some of the posters above have added a Porsche badge shaped piece of pre-positioned metal shrapnel to the cover of their driver air-bag module,
my personal feeling is no good can come from this.
