Post M030 Sway Bar Install Question

I'm just about to install front and rear M030 Sway Bars on my car with H&R Coilovers. Is it necessary to replace the front and rear drop links or will the stock suspension links work with the M030 Bars?

TIA

Yes, the stock drop links will work with the M030 bars. I have no experience with the H&Rs, but if you're already using the stock links with them, the M030 bars mount no differently from the factory "skinny" sway bars.

Thanks for your reply Edward, I will be installing the H&R Coilovers at the same time as the M030 Sway Bars so the Coilovers are not on the car yet.

I noticed in the parts list (PET) that the M030 Drop Links have a different part # from the stock links, were you aware of this?

Thanks,

JF

Jf,

Ahem....no I wasn't. <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
If it's any help, however, I have the stock (high) springs/shocks and replaced the sways to M030 over 6 months and 3 DEs ago with great enjoyment sans problems. You're going another notch so I'm certain you'll be in for some serious smiles!!!

Joseph,

I have seem two different drop links made by Porsche for the 993 cars, one is more of a "stright drop" link for the 2 wheel drive 993s, the other looks more like a half circle shaped. The half circle shaped drop link were design for 4 wheels drive 993s to accomodate the front drive axle.
