I am currently rebuilding my alternator and the plastic rear bearing retainer ring (W110-21) is broken and I need to purchase a new one.
I had visited Wagneralt website and they have this item selling but they only deal with Wholeseller. http://www.wagneralt.com/products/W110-21.asp
Is there anywhere I can buy this retainer ring to complete my rebuilt?

search for an alternator rebuild shop near you and ask if they can order you one?

 

I haven't opened mine up yet but are you talking about the retaining ring that is replaced by trimmed flat washers in this video?

about 14 mins in he talks about the retaining plate. He says Bosch is on the outside. Does our alternator have the retaining plate on the inside?
