Default 993 rs hub with momo wheel?

Did a search. No great answer. Can I unscrew my 993 rs wheel from the hub and place a momo wheel on the same hub? Looks like the screw pattern is the same. I need a thicker wheel my hands are massive.

yes on any momo wheel question. I replaced the rs wheel for the same reason. I couldn't find any momos that looked like had thicker ring. I went with this wheel. http://www.classicshop.porsche.com/p...7084108yr.html
Spendy but really nice wheel. The smooth leather is nice and like the embossed porsche letters on the side The downside is that it has a different bolt pattern so have to also buy an adapter to go from momo pattern to the 3 hole.

There are cheaper versions of this wheel as well. It's made by Atiwe. 968CS, 930S I think there's also generic versions as well.

Was it hard to take the screws out of the rs wheel to that hub? Thought I read that somewhere

yes, mine sucked. they use a thread lock / locktite of some sort. the screw head seem soft so the allen tool seems to strip them easily. I had to drill a couple out. If I had to do it again, I'd use a small butane flame and put some heat on it first.

Good idea, or a hand held impact driver with the correct size hex socket.
