Post Will installing monoballs affect...

Will front and rear monoballs affect high speed stability? I have a 993C2 with H&R adjustable suspension, RS sway bars and 18" wheels. My alignment and hight specs are RS.After installing the RS bars i noticed that my 993 was a little nervous, this is why i am contemplating installing the monoballs. But everyone in the archives is pleased with them and enjoy the feedback from the car.High speed stability is my only concern. Please advise.

Thanks, Nick

I don't think monoballs will hurt high speed stability, but I would look elsewhere for the cause of your problem. Tires or alignment out of whack perhaps?

What do you mean by stability? Does the car wander at speed? If so it is probably you alignment as JC noted. Have your shop dial in just a bit more toe-in on the front suspension.
Monoballs are great for a track car but I think your Targa would make a lot more noise if you installed these.

If I recall correctly, adding more caster increases high speed stability.
