Mobil 1 Rebate season. In previous years they have accepted Walmart purchased oil even though Walmart is not on the participating retailer list.
I spit out the oil purchase into two five-gallon bottles and apply for two rebates for a total of $24. At Walmart, I can order for free pick-up the 0W-40fs (European Car) oil even though it is not stocked in the store on the shelf.
I'll keep you posted as to if they accept my Walmart purchase rebate form for this year.

They do honor Walmart. I've gotten 6 of the rebates so far. All from Walmart purchases.
