Unhappy Promised Pics, close encounter bus-993

Here are the promised pics of my car after the bus rammed me (post : sad news bus rammed me).

My mechanic told me nothing really serious just bolt on and of new door, wing and front bumper (gonna have a Turbo one). But they are going to take the right side apart to have a complete checkup.

I still feel really sad. My brain says its only a car and can be fixed. My heart is broken. I feel already uncomfortable when the car is dirty but now ...

Its gonna take 4 weeks before the expertise happens, ordering parts, mounting, etc .....

Just got my 5-spokes 18" Turbo spokes too, guess they have to wait. The 4th april we ve got a Porsche meeting here in Flanders. Wanna be alive and kicking over there so the car has got to be ready by then.

C u later

OUCH!!!! Really sorry for you, but glad that it can all be fixed relatively easily. The Turbo bumper will look great-hope they don't find any more damage under there.

Glad to hear first and foremost that you're ok, and secondarily that the damage was at least contained enough to only affect body panels and not anything more serious.

When you get the car back with the Turbo bumper cover and fresh paint, you'll bounce back mentally and enjoy the car even more. I upgraded to a Turbo bumper after a mishap at a car wash caused by a negligent attendant. While certainly a sad experience at the time, it really felt great to get the car back from the bodyshop and see the "new look" with the front bumper and fresh paint.

Ouch..... The oil lines from the engine going to the oil cooler in front are right where your car got hit. Hopefully, these were undamaged..

Glad to hear your fine (physically anyways), sorry to see a beauty all bent up.

At least no weld-on panals were bent. Hopefully a painless repair. Treat yourself to a few upgrades, you know, 'while your in there'...

Glad nobody was hurt and sorry to see your beautiful car like that.

I too have the turbo bumper and I love it. If the expertise confirms the damage is superficial the bumper and turbo twist upgrades will have you forget this epsiode in no time.

I know... I know... Momentary lapse of reason. Still, the damage pales in comparison to WSP's.
