Default Engine oil return line replacement

I replaced all of the flexible oil and fuel lines on the car during a full rebuild, except the engine oil return line. At 25 years old and for track use it was time.
New part was $700 and I didn't want to end up with an old shelf part from Porsche.

I used 12AN swagged fittings on a Goodridge G-line XF-811 hose from Pegasus. The swagged fittings were shorter and gave the hose more flexibility.
Used Titan stainless steel 12AN fitting plugs and counterbored to the factory hard line OD. Needed to cut the the factory crimped hose connection off the hard line.
Brazed the new fittings on and and did a very good clean up.
My engine/trans is solid mounted so the line doesn't need to move. With rubber engine mounts I planned on a loose hose clamp to control the hose movement.
Cost $450 parts and machine shop time.

The best part is now I won't have the f'ing oil line dripping and in the way during an engine drop!

Mike
