Vic,

The TT did real well. It even placed in the Concours & won its class in Auto X.

You might want to write him about some details I may have missed. He has LOTS to tell you!

It was either go to The Visit, or drive in my first DE. I chose the DE. It was a tough choice, though. I would have liked to have been in Bowling Green.

I know Jeremy's red Cab. Great to hear he did well in the autocross. I haven't seen him autocross before. The times I saw him he was in the middle of trying to get the supercharger tuned properly (took quite some time) and he sat out.

Did he happen to mention his yellow TT or 930?

Mention... Well, actually, he brought them too!

I worked on the 930 (boost control install) & eyed the TT as well.

Finn,

The G-Tech only displays "0-60" for about a second if you continue a run past that... So I only had a small window to look up & see that (I missed it). However, I have looked before on other runs. It usually is 5.01 seconds (or so)

Thanks Michael,

I've tested my car also & my time was about same (5.07), I've only tested three times, times were 5.6, 5.3 and then that 5.07. I didn't want to be too hard on a car either but I still launched it pretty good, I think.

Those are the only tests I've done (I'm not that interested in 0-60 times) but I thought it would be good to have a 'starting point' if/when I start modifying my car.

Michael-
Do you remember who all placed in the 993 category? I had the 1996 red 993 cabriolet with cashmere interior parked just down from yours. I have not been able to find anyone who actually knows who placed in this. Since it was my first concours, I was just curious.

Glad to hear you met Wicky. Wicky is actually my mechanic, and he is a great guy.

TIA
