Default FS: Battery Tender Plus .+ Accessories

Selling my Deltran Battery Tender Plus. Works perfectly. Looks brand new. Comes with alligator clips, 25ft extension, and a cigarette adapter that actually fits/works with the 993. $35 shipped.

I always found the cigarette adapter was too large. Is there a new model available?

Most battery charger/maintainer cig plugs don’t fit the 993 hole correctly. I re-engineered the plug using a CTEK part. It now fits in the 993 opening snuggly.

I have found that a simply folded business card(3times upon itself)is just enough of a “shim” to hold the charging adapter securely in place. Just don’t rip out the lighter socket upon adapter removal.

Ironically, it’s the business card from the young Pcar tech at the dealership. The business card has provided years of dependable service on my 993.

Congrats on the sale Nam...

on another note, I am sadly disappointed that this thread didn’t descend into a why some have to shim their adapter because it’ll fall out, while others found their adaptor too big for the socket.

Age factor and prep work on adaptor was not discussed. People have also said that thinking about other sockets help.
