Default OBD Tach miles to empty reset

so a while back i swapped out my oem obc tach (after damaging it in cf panel install) and put in a gemballa-badged used unit with about 110 mile range. this has thrown off the accuracy by adding those miles to true range. any way to reset the unit hopefully without pulling it?
thanks john

I dunno, John... I would have sent the OEM unit (because of its ability to read and report codes) to a gauge repair shop. Unless of course you hit it repeatedly with a hammer upon reinstallation. ; )

yeah i physically damaged the oem . the rear cap got partially pulled off . i know there's diy but i saw and liked the alum gemballa and still have the oem packed up for repair. i thought when i filled the tank it would balance to true but obv didn't happen. thanks.
