Default Blue interiors and value

I've seen a number of photos of silver on blue cars and it's impossible to tell what the interior really looks like in natural light - I haven't seen one in person. With a flash, the blue is extremely bright, like a royal blue, but in ads from crafty dealers like Schmitt, they only show indoor photos without a flash which makes the interior appear almost black.

So if you have any photos of what they really look like, please post them.

Also, is it tougher to move a car with a blue interior? From what I've seen, it seems that they might sell for a few $K less, but perhaps it's just the specific cars I've seen.

Matter of personal preference - you need to see it in person. IMO the blue is not attractive - especially when the steering wheel is finished in blue.

I'll have to find one locally to check out I guess- anyone in Boston have one? I guess that's why this one seems to be priced relatively low - $36K with 40K miles, 97 C4 cab.

The blue looks great on a blue car but I can see it standing out a bit on another color.

I like the blue interior if the exterior has some blue in the color. Polar silver with blue int would perfectly acceptable imo. Even white ext would be ok.

I have the blue interior (dash) and changed my shifter and emergency brake handle to match. It looks dandy with my midnight blue exterior and grey rest of interior and blue cabrio roof . . .

Looking at the photo I uploaded, it seems that the wheel is a little brighter than it actually looks. The rest of the dash is accurate to the color. (That is my old shifter in the photo.

Here's one I had that just sold. Polar exterior with Met.Blue interior is a very handsome combo. Color did, however, have an effect on price - as much as 2-3 grand less, IMO.

Thanks for the photos. Were there different blues for 993 interiors, or do they just look different in photos?

Same color - just the difference between flash and no-flash.

I have a Midnight Blue interior in an Arctic Silver C2S. I would have preferred a black or saddle interior. You just don't have the options when shopping for a used C2S. I expect to change the steering wheel to a black three spoke, change the shifter and parking brake lever (the stock one looks very cheap) and eventually change the seats to black Recaro Speeds with blue piping. I don't know if I am helping the overall look or hurting it but the wheel and seat change I consider functional to the enjoyment of the drive.

Heres mine. At first I thought I HAD to have black. But when I found my car, Polar silver w/ Blue & gray interior, I really liked it. I think it makes it a liitle more unique. When I was shopping for my car, I thought there was NO WAY I would get a blue interior. It looked ugly in the pics.....but in person I changed my opinion..I really like it!!! To each his own.

I personally like the blue interior with certain color exteriors.. If I had a blue interior, I would however change the steering wheel to black and possibly the shifter/handbrake..

Love the two tone blue/light grey combo!
