Default Price check on '95 993 Cab with 134k miles?

Hi all,

Trying to help a friend buy a '1995 midnight blue cab/blue interior/blue top with 134k miles. Manual, all books, in really good shape other than the normal patina that comes with all these miles.

Price from seller is currently $29k. Includes top cover and refinished rims.

Engine strong, no oil leaks, PPI checked out well.

Does that sound like a decent price?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds fair, but a PPI will determine price.

Compression and leak down numbers?

Records of recent plug, wires and clutch service?

If it has a clean carfax and no rust issues that sounds like a great deal.

The drivetrain would get $20k plus alone.

Sold my black/black 1996 coupe two years ago with 150,000 miles for $39,000. No leaks and nothing done to engine. Miss it terribly. Would buy this one if it was a coupe.

If your friend ends up passing on it, perhaps you can share a link to the ad or the seller’s details.

If the PPI checks out, it is a great price.

I paid more than 12 for a fixer upper 993. No engine. If you don't get this one let me know.

any records? deferred maintenance could be up to $10K making it marginal.
A reputable 120K mile service would be good info

These cars are very reliable once you sort them out. Your friend will spend money to get any 993 ready to drive.

I wouldn’t be afraid of the miles. It’s all about maintenance and condition.

I doubt you’d find one for much less in any condition.
