Default Help....Metal on oil drain plug

Did oil change today found metal on oil drain plug.

Anyone have an Idea

1995 C2 build date 12/93, 61,000 miles.

Not good...Can you take a higher res photo like the first one with a ruler or something??? Maybe just send it to me as you probably won't be able to post it.

meandean,

Don't panic yet. We can certainly rule out the crankcase/block(nonmetalic).
The coil is too tight to be any bearings too. My guess is pulled threads. What service work have you had done lately? Sparkplugs?

Metal fragments from pulled spark plugs would not end up in the oil would it?

Do the bits look like shavings or do they look broken off a larger piece, also do any of the pieces fit together to make a more recognisable part?
