Having an issue with the gear selection indicator light in my speedometer. '97 Carrera S, tiptronic, so there are little red indicator lights that show what gear you're in and whether you're in auto or manual mode.
The odometer stopped working so I sent it to Palo Alto Speedometer for repair. When I got it back the indicator lights were not working. Sent it back to PASpeedo but they're having trouble finding the issue. PASpeedo even contacted Porsche but they weren't much help.
Any ideas? Anyone else with a Tip experienced this?

Before digging deep I would disconnect the battery and reconnect it to reboot any controller that drives the display.
