They're clearly not for a 928. The front shocks for a 928 look nothing like that and don't mount to the carriers the same way as the 993 (and 964). They look like the rears on our 993's.
Further, not sure why you're saying the numbers are incorrect. They are GP01's which are for the 993. The front shocks are G2P01 and rears G6P01 in the GP01 kit.
I do see the one spot where it erroneously says "fitment: 928" but everywhere else it says 993 and 1994-1998. The pictures and parts match the 993 fitment. Feel free to confirm with the seller. Again, I have no affiliation.

Seller is my mechanic, the owner of Motorsport in Salt Lake City and is legit. He ordered a few 964 and 993 kits for my cars and this is an extra set. He owns a bunch of 928s and sells a lot on eBay, probably did not change that part of a description copy pasted from another listing.
Sidenote- I'm sure some folks would be interested to hear your thoughts on them. I'd be curious as well, since you've got a deep stable of 993's if you by chance also have some Bilsteins and KW's to compare them to. Obviously the build quality looks better but curious if they feel stiffer/more track-like. If you have thoughts (or once you spend some time with them) would love to see a thread on it.

I had RUF/Bilstein PSS9s and now KW3s on my 993tt. I can say that I like the KW3s better. They are a little softer but fully planted feeling. Not harsh at all. But could be if you set them to be that way.

As of right now I have one Ohlins R&T kit on a 964 C4, but have a set going onto a 993 C4S soon. I also have KW v3 on a 964 C2, several 993s with PSS9/10 and one 993 with the Porsche Classic setup. The Ohlins are my favorite system by far, but no experience with them on a 993 yet. I will try to post a thread once I have some experience with them installed.
With the 964 I would not describe the Ohlins as stiffer. If anything just a major upgrade in the driving experience and they feel much better and more compliant than a PSS10 setup. I have a project 964 C4 and an incoming 964 C2 and have sets waiting for both. Really looking forward to trying a set on a 993.
