No, when I was building that engine there was no AC, hence the single sheave pulley. I have since installed AC and the original 3 sheave stock pulley.

I did not order, nor do i have, the 993-102-050-40 pulley for the crankshaft.

Do I need this part. It seems obvious that I would.

Did I misunderstand the DIY's regarding this? Are there any factory instructions that I can give my mechanic?

Thanks everyone for your help!

If you wish to retain the AC function, it is far easier to stay with the stock 3 sheave crank pulley, and delete the original alternator belt/pulley by using only the RS hub you already have. The alternator will turn somewhat more slowly .... but that hasn't caused me any grief.

One caution... if you go to the full RS setup, the battery is only 35 ah and the electrical output from the alternator is on the limit if you run all electrics simultaneously... stay out of traffic snarls!
