40mm which is just the street header w/ the heater boxes stripped off
45mm
some used stock mufflers and cat(some cats were gutted) some have a transverse muffler. It depended on the series.
These are Cuo 40mm
this is a later RSR 45mm
Some shots in situ

Supercups are nasty, fun, loud and can be very obnoxious at time, especially when you are trying to sneak out of the house or neighborhood . I had them and loved them for a while but ended up going with Fister 2 instead. In my opinion supercups are too loud, plus they drone... But everyone their own, you might love them..

For track use, it's hard to beat Supercups with stock cats. Any possible 2700-rpm droning doesn't matter on track.
For street use, it's hard to beat Fister/LPMM/Ruf. Those are all pretty similar since they use a bypass pipe. (For the record, very few people use the Ruf mufflers. I only include it here because I believe they invented the configuration.)

Adding 100-cell sport cats to RSR mufflers doesn't change the sound very much; it merely makes it a louder version of what it already is.

Before purchasing anything I'd check w/ the tracks to fully understand their noise restrictions, if any. For most of the tracks I go to the track car needs to be quieter than my street car. The penalties for exceeding noise can be severe including a request to go home.

My car has to pass Lime Rock sound, which is very restrictive, I use 993 turbo mufflers w/ cat bypass that keeps the sides separated, last trick was to use turn down tips(aka 'track fangs)

I have a different opinion. I had RSRs first and then added Dansk 100 cell split cats. I think the sound became significantly louder as well as raspier when adding the cats. I think my exhaust is pretty spot on, removing weight and adding sound. I also think Eric had the same setup at some point.
