There is a group of buyers who buys something because it is popular and hard to get. Those folks are now following the 964s without fully understanding why or history of air cooled porsche.

I wanted a 964 to compliment my 3TT but moment is gone and I am not losing sleep over it. I still think 993s are the best iteration of AC cars. Relative to 964 prices, you can say that 993s are a good value today.

I love my 993 and my 964...I personally prefer the 964...but both are great and it's a beauty...GLWS

Was the 993 you drove outfitted with a NA gearbox? I thought 993s were OK until I drove one with a regeared transmission. Night and day!
