Does a VIN reveal a 993’s color code?
Long story short I am trying to buy a part from someone who sold the rest of the car and doesn’t have the color code of the car.
The only thing I was given was the VIN. Is there any way to find out the color code from the VIN? If so what services would tell you this?
I am not looking for simple responses like “silver” or “blue”. I need specific color / possibly color code to confirm.
Thanks for your time and input / feedback.
Best,
Paul

I have seemed to answer my own question by this thread. Looks like VIN does not reveal color code

Not directly however the color is an option code and should be able to be looked up from the VIN by the factory.
Have you looked for the option code sticker in the owner's manual or stuck to the underside of the frunk lid?
